Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for collecting specimens from patients, preparing them for transportation, and maintaining accurate records. This is a Regular Part-Time Float position that requires flexibility and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities- Greet patients, request required information, and explain the specimen collection process.
- Perform special test collections, such as medical/legal drug screens and paternity tests.
- Complete data entry of required patient demographics and requisition information.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Completion of a recognized Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent related experience.
- ECG training or experience is an asset.
