Senior Clinical Trial Nurse Role

Clerkenwell Health is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Trial Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall supervision and coordination of clinical research activities on site.

The estimated salary for this position is £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of nurses and contribute to the development of clinical trials. Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking nursing activities related to clinical trials from start-up to close out, working to ICH/GCP guidelines
  • Reviewing research protocols, identifying and coordinating training and education requirements for clinical reports
  • Ensuring the commercial success of the site by contributing to the recruitment and retention of patients into trials
  • Screening and randomization of potential study participants
  • Conducting informed consent discussions and taking informed consent
  • Completing study procedures such as phlebotomy, vital signs, and ECG and reviewing medical histories
  • Administering medication as needed
  • Scheduling trial visits and tracking enrolled trial participants
  • Completing and organizing regulatory documents
  • Communicating with the Sponsor, regulators, and third-party vendors
  • Performing all coordinator-mediated tasks, per individual protocols
  • Drug accountability and reconciliation
  • Processing and packaging specimens, per guidelines

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Licensed Registered Nurse
  • Understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
  • Experience in trial delivery in a clinical research facility would be advantageous
  • Be a team player & understand the sensitivities of the space they're working in
