We are seeking a highly skilled **Manufacturing Engineer** to join our team at Bluebolt Recruitment in Carlisle.

The successful candidate will have experience working with IFS PMRP Software and other business system manufacturing support software. They will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing process, including drawing transmittals, part number creation, and making/buying route decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drawing transmittal: Create and manage drawing transmittals for purchasing assistance and logging.
  2. Part number creation: Create and manage part numbers for materials and commercial parts/spare parts.
  3. Making/buying route decisions: Make informed decisions regarding making or buying routes for transferred parts.
  4. ECO processing: Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for product structure and shop orders.
  5. Technical information management: Manage technical information, including standardization, updating, logging, and issuing.
  6. Machine spares management: Create and manage machine spares in IFS, sharing information as needed.
  7. Drawing pack preparation: Prepare drawing packs and barcoded labels for production.
  8. PMRP understanding and running: Understand and run PMRP software to manage inventory part transfers, product structures, and shop orders.
  9. PMRP input: Input data into PMRP for inventory part transfers, product structures, VMI, shop order request generation, and shop order creation.
  10. Barcoding system updates: Update the barcoding system with project information.
  11. Routing template creation: Create and update routing templates for new parts.
Requirements:
  1. IFS PMRP Software or similar business system manufacturing support software experience.
  2. Manufacturing, systems, or industrial engineering experience.
  3. Machine building/engineering administration experience.
  4. Project administration experience.
  5. Engineering development systems experience.
  6. Quality assurance experience.
  7. Manufacturing planning experience.
  8. Systematic and goal-driven mindset.
  9. Ability to break tasks down to step-by-step actions.
  10. Previous experience in a similar role.
