Job Opportunity:

Riverside Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineering Lead to join our team in Carlisle.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced engineer to provide technical leadership and support to our production function. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and be able to work collaboratively with the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance and support to the Site Services Manager, ATMs, Apprentices, and Team Members.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain and improve the mechanical and electrical integrity of equipment.
  • Manage contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Monitor and report on plant performance, including downtime and maintenance costs.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Patterns:

Day shift Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30 with 30 minutes for lunch.

Estimated Salary: £46,500
