Aon is seeking a Strategic Engagement Leader to join its Strategic Engagement team in London, UK. This role will suit someone who is relationship-focused with a background in the commercial (re)insurance industry.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for partnering with Aon's insurance carrier clients to develop relationships and ensure the success of their strategic objectives. This will involve acting as a trusted advisor, using analytical skills and insights to simplify complex issues and interdependencies, and articulating a compelling justification for action.

The day-to-day activities of this role will include:

  • Leading teams to problem solve with distinctive solutions that challenge thinking and deliver demonstrable value.
  • Developing and delivering high-impact presentations of insights and recommendations to support client decision-making.
  • Understanding and articulating key Aon business strategies, initiatives and capabilities and helping clients navigate the opportunities that these present.
  • Monitoring new developments in the industry and their impact on Aon and Aon's clients.
  • Engaging in open and compelling conversations with clients to understand and uncover real needs, challenge thinking appropriately and build strategic relationships.
  • Leading in the development of new business opportunities and driving efficient and effective business practices.

About the role

This is a strategic relationship-focused role where you will have responsibility for partnering with Aon's insurance carrier clients to develop relationships and ensure the success of their strategic objectives. The successful candidate will have a background in the commercial (re)insurance industry and be able to demonstrate a track record of building positive relationships both internally and externally.
