The successful candidate will utilise their clinical and medical-legal knowledge to provide rapid assessments and develop strategies to manage mental health and addiction problems.

About Our Service

Te Korowai-Whāriki is a regional forensic mental health service that operates at the interface between Mental Health Services and the Justice System.

Our service offers assessment and rehabilitation services to defendants and offenders with psychiatric illnesses.

About You

We are seeking a registered nurse who can demonstrate professional, legal, and ethical responsibilities, as well as cultural safety.

The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with clients, other nursing staff, and inter-professional teams.
