Job Title: Assistant Site Manager

Fawkes & Reece West Midlands is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our site management team, you will be responsible for coordinating the workforce, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the workforce, including subcontractors and agency staff, to meet project milestones
  • Ensure material supplies are available and in stock
  • Monitor health and safety on site
  • Mentor and develop apprentices or trainees on site
  • Liaise with the design team to maintain good working relationships
  • Assist with maintaining production in line with build programme and quality best practice
  • Ensure the site team delivers excellent customer service through the customer journey
  • Plan and manage site order to reduce waste
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working for a residential house builder at Assistant Site Manager level
  • Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation
  • Ability to manage change and use initiative
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle complex situations and motivate others
  • Appropriate CSCS card, valid SSSTS, First Aid certificate
