About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Old Age Psychiatrist to join our team at Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant in Geriatric Psychiatry, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and professional leadership to the medical team working within the service.

Main Responsibilities

  • Delivering high-quality patient care that improves lives
  • Providing clinical supervision to the medical team and engaging within the Trust's Clinical Governance structure
  • Designated training responsibilities for junior doctors

Requirements

  • CCT in Old Age Psychiatry or gaining this within 3 months
  • Experience working within a range of older people's community services
  • Evidence of excellent communication skills and experience working within an MDT
