Old Age Psychiatrist

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Old Age Consultant Psychiatrists to join our team at Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist in Older Peoples Services, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and professional leadership to our medical team.
The successful applicant will have a CCT in Old Age Psychiatry or be gaining this within 3 months. They will also have experience working within a range of older people's community services and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to provide clinical supervision to the medical team and engage within the trust's Clinical Governance structure.
About the RoleThis is a 10 PA post plus a 1% category B availability for out of hours on-call duties. Key Responsibilities- Delivering high-quality patient care and professional leadership to the medical team
- Providing clinical supervision to the medical team and engaging within the trust's Clinical Governance structure
- Designated training responsibilities for junior doctors
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, experience working within an MDT, and a CCT in Old Age Psychiatry or be gaining this within 3 months. They will also have experience working within a range of older people's community services.
