About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Old Age Psychiatrist to join our team at Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant in Geriatric Psychiatry, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and professional leadership to our medical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality patient care that improves lives
  • Providing professional leadership and clinical supervision to the medical team
  • Designated training responsibilities for junior doctors
  • Engagement within the trust's Clinical Governance structure
Requirements
  • CCT in Old Age Psychiatry or gaining this within 3 months
  • Experience working within a range of older people's service community services
  • Evidence of excellent communication skills and experience working within an MDT

This is a 10 PA post plus a 1% category B availability for out of hours on-call duties. As well as financial support for relocation (up to £8,000*), we want to understand what flexibility means to you.
