Electrical Power Systems Definition Lead

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our team in defining and delivering the electrical power systems for a cutting-edge submarine project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the development of electrical power systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company requirements
- Lead a team of engineers in the definition and delivery of system elements, including design documentation and spatial modeling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical power systems into the overall submarine design
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent engineering background
- Engineering Chartership required (or equivalent experience demonstrated)
- Significant knowledge of AC and DC electrical power systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team leadership experience
