Aerospace Engineering Opportunity:
We are recruiting an Aircraft Structures Engineer to join our Advanced Aerostructures team in Prestwick. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to defining and carrying out engineering analysis tasks for modern military air platforms.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out engineering analysis tasks to ensure aircraft structures meet certification and project requirements
- Lead engineers in developing and delivering satisfactory customer outcomes
- Ensure effective interactions between team members, suppliers, customers, and others to develop efficient working practices
- Mentor and develop less experienced colleagues to build up the team's knowledge, skill, and experience
About You:
To succeed in this role, you'll need a STEM-related degree or relevant aerospace engineering experience. Familiarity with structural fatigue and fracture mechanics, dynamics, vibration, and acoustic effects analysis methods is essential.
