Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Expert to join our Advanced Aerostructures team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for assessing the F&DT implications of modifications and repairs to in-service aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out analysis of structure fatigue and damage tolerance calculations using software applications
  • Mentoring and developing less experienced colleagues to build up the team's knowledge, skill and experience across the Structures discipline
  • Ensuring effective interactions between team mates, suppliers, customers and others

Required Experience:

  • Relevant aerospace engineering experience, preferably with experience in leading engineers in developing and delivering satisfactory customer outcomes
  • Familiarity with structural fatigue and fracture mechanics, dynamics, vibration and acoustic effects analysis methods
  • Experience in using and applying of structural analysis tools such as Nastran etc, and output data processing techniques
