Job Title: Aircraft Engineer – Fatigue and Damage Analysis
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Engineer to join our Advanced Aerostructures team. As a Structural Integrity Specialist, you will be responsible for defining and carrying out engineering analysis tasks allocated to you and your team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out analysis of structure fatigue and damage tolerance calculations using software applications
- Assessing the F&DT implications of modifications and repairs to in-service aircraft
- Mentoring and developing less experienced colleagues to build up the team's knowledge, skill and experience across the Structures discipline
Required Skills:
- Familiarity with structural fatigue and fracture mechanics, dynamics, vibration and acoustic effects analysis methods
- Good understanding of classical structural analysis techniques and methods
- Experience in using and applying of structural analysis tools such as Nastran etc, and output data processing techniques
