Job Summary:

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Charge Hand to join our team at Currys. As a key member of our Customer Service Centre warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate warehouse activities, including shunting, loading, unloading, and MHE operation.
  • Support the transportation of our technology products and ensure their safe handling.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve operational excellence and meet customer expectations.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in overseeing or supporting warehouse teams.
  • Experience in coaching or training others.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • FLT license and experience.
  • Driving license preferred.
  • Recycling experience desired.
