Role Overview:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Charge Hand to join our team at Currys. As a key member of our Customer Service Centre warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment, and supporting the transport of our technology products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate warehouse procedures, including shunting, loading, unloading, and MHE operation.
  • Support the transport of technology products and ensure their safe handling and storage.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve operational excellence and meet customer expectations.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with a focus on team leadership and coordination.
  • Strong communication and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • FLT license and experience, with a valid driving license preferred.
  • Recycling experience is a plus.
