Job Summary:

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Charge Hand to join our team at Currys. As a key member of our Customer Service Centre warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of our technology products through the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of the warehouse team to meet productivity and quality standards.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of shipments, including receiving, storing, and dispatching products.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and improve overall performance.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in English language.
