Job Summary

Adecco is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. As a key member of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Picking stock for dispatch in accordance with dispatch notes, paying particular attention to quantity, correct part number, and dispatch address.
  • Packing goods for dispatch to minimize the possibility of damage in transit.
  • Checking all goods-in against documentation and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Booking in customer returns/repairs, including any appropriate paperwork, and ensuring we have as much detail as possible, including part numbers, serial numbers, and special customer instructions.
  • Supporting the materials controller in the cyclic counting of stock to ensure system records are accurate.
  • Liaising with the Senior Warehouseman over recommendations for improvement in warehouse systems.
  • Supporting the technical department as and when required, which will involve carrying out conversions by modifying current products or assembling components to satisfy customer orders.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday, Friday, with a 45-minute lunch break.
