Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Charge Hand to join our Customer Service Centre warehouse team in Basingstoke. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials through our warehouse, working closely with colleagues to meet customer demands and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate warehouse activities, including shunting, loading, unloading, and MHE operation
  • Support the transportation of products and ensure their safe handling and storage
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve operational efficiency and quality standards
  • Monitor and report on warehouse performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with a focus on operations and team leadership
  • Strong communication and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • FLT license and experience, with a driving license preferred
  • Recycling experience is a plus
