Catering Assistant

At Anchor, we're looking for a skilled Catering Assistant to join our team at Victoria Court in Ilkeston. As a Catering Assistant, you'll play a vital role in delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being are always our top priority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a quality catering service in line with health, safety, and hygiene requirements.
- Comply with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
- Minimise wastage when preparing meals and use equipment correctly.
- Escalate concerns and issues.
Requirements:
- Level 2 food safety certificate.
- Health & safety procedures, including control of substances harmful to health (COSHH).
- Previous catering experience with knowledge of basic food safety and safe use of knives & kitchen equipment.
- Experience of working with older people.
