About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at George's Tradition in Ilkeston, Derby. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the site, including ordering, forecasting, quality control, and developing a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and food quality.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the site's operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and customer service
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Lead and motivate a team of staff to achieve high standards of performance
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer experience

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and food quality. You will have a minimum of 1 year's experience in a hospitality or catering environment, with some management or supervisory experience. You will be a good communicator, able to motivate and lead a team, and have a keen eye for detail.
