Role Overview

The Claims Consortium Group is seeking an experienced Insurance Claims Professional to manage claims from inception to conclusion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for investigating claims in a timely manner, gathering accurate information, and communicating effectively with customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Empathise with customers and provide individualised support to ensure their needs are met.
  2. Consider the impact of each claim and the required stages on customers.
  3. Maintain confidentiality and high personal standards throughout.
  4. Investigate claims in a timely manner and gather accurate information using site notes, photographs, witness statements, and other relevant evidence.
  5. Understand the relevance of obtained information and decide on a step-by-step plan to conclude the claim.
  6. Demonstrate confidence and knowledge to make decisions regarding policy liability, quantum, subrogation, and risk management issues.
  7. Recognise when assistance is required from colleagues outside your expertise.
  8. Maintain communication between parties to achieve a successful claims outcome.
  9. Provide high-quality technical, quality, and customer service commitment.
  10. Remain focused on customer satisfaction within policy parameters.
  11. Represent the CCG brand and values at all times.
  12. Utilise available technology to execute your role effectively.
  13. Respond promptly to queries and complete ad hoc administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Essential: Property claims insurance experience.
  • Desirable: Construction industry experience/knowledge.
  • Proven track record of exhibiting a professional approach when dealing with customers.
  • CILA Qualified or working towards.

Estimated Salary: £22,500 - £26,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week.
