Job Description:

This exciting opportunity is available for a motivated individual to provide administrative support within the Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the local health and care community.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and carers who may have difficulties due to old age, hearing loss, pain, fear, or language barriers. You will also work closely with clinical and other staff within the department to maintain channels of communication and links.

In this varied and dynamic role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality referral services, covering shifts during times of staff absence, and providing customer-friendly services to patients and their families. Additionally, you will manage day-to-day clinic operations, ensure capacity utilization, and handle peaks in the work program.

We are seeking a methodical and detail-oriented individual who can work under pressure, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to policies and procedures. A good standard of education and previous experience in office administration are essential. The ideal candidate will also possess knowledge of EMIS, Rio, and System1, as well as Microsoft Office proficiency.

Estimated Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum
