About the position

We are seeking a skilled IT Hardware Specialist to manage our desktop hardware devices and expand our portfolio of hardware offerings in both work-from-home and office environments.

You will work closely with our IT team to research and test hardware options, providing detailed recommendations on the best solutions for our needs.

Your daily work will involve a large portfolio of hardware types, including remote working solutions, workstations, monitors, and desktop peripherals.

As new technology is introduced, you will assess long-term performance using metrics and end-user assessment to inform future product selection.

Your work will directly improve the user experience for colleagues across the firm.

About you
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role and a deep knowledge of computer hardware, desktop peripherals, and audio and video conferencing equipment
  • Ability to provide in-depth written assessments of relative performance between similar hardware options
  • Experience with integrating and troubleshooting driver issues within a Windows Operating System
  • Highly organized self-starter with exceptional attention to detail
  • Reliable, courteous, and flexible team player with a customer-first mentality
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to analyze and explain complex technical problems with brevity and accuracy
  • Ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with writing PowerShell scripts and automated OS builds and deployment
  • Fluency in English required
