Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Operations Specialist to join our team at Google Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience with operating systems, networking protocols, and server hardware troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the deployment, maintenance, and support of Google Cloud region infrastructure.
  • Test and troubleshoot new server hardware components and designs.
  • Configure and troubleshoot OS-related issues on servers.
About the Role

As a Hardware Operations Specialist, you will work closely with our Technical Infrastructure team to ensure the smooth operation of our data centers and cloud platforms. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining hardware and server software, as well as participating in project teams and developing contingency plans.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with operating systems and networking protocols.
  • Experience with computer hardware and server hardware troubleshooting.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 20% of the time as required.
