An exceptional opportunity has emerged for a dedicated and proactive Clinical Psychologist to become a vital member of our Community Paediatric team.
Role ResponsibilitiesThis position is integral to our expanding Community Psychology team, which offers exciting prospects for service enhancement and collaborative efforts.
The role will involve:
- Conducting thorough assessments of children suspected of having Autism Spectrum Disorders.
- Developing initial psychological intervention pathways tailored for children and adolescents facing neurodevelopmental and complex neurological challenges.
We encourage applications from both newly qualified professionals and current band 7 practitioners who possess a strong enthusiasm for working with this demographic.
The successful applicant will be part of a compact Paediatric Clinical Psychology team that emphasizes professional growth and support.
Our team frequently hosts trainees from local Clinical Psychology Doctorate programs, fostering an environment of continuous improvement in service delivery and clinical outcomes.
Key Skills and AttributesWe seek a Clinical Psychologist who can operate independently as well as collaboratively within a team to deliver high-quality assessments for potential Autism Spectrum Disorders.
This role includes:
- Implementing assessment protocols for children referred by the Community Paediatric multidisciplinary team.
- Acting as the case coordinator when necessary and contributing to the evaluation of complex diagnostic cases.
The position requires working with individuals, families, and external entities such as educational institutions, mental health services, and social care organizations.
