Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological services to children and adolescents with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to determine the mental health needs of children and adolescents.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs and challenges.
- Work collaboratively with clinicians in the multi-disciplinary team and with external professional networks.
- Provide education and support to families and caregivers about their child's mental health condition.
- Offer bespoke training packages and reflective practice spaces to inpatient colleagues.
We are looking for a candidate with a doctoral level training in clinical psychology, including two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with children and adolescents with complex mental health needs and will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of evidence-based practices.
The successful candidate will be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and will have a strong commitment to ongoing professional development. They will be able to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
