Domestic Support Worker Specialist

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust seeks a dedicated Domestic Support Worker to join their team. The estimated salary for this position is £23,500 per annum.
This role involves maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for staff, patients, and visitors in accordance with National Standards of Cleanliness. As a Domestic Support Worker, you will deliver a full cleaning service to wards, offices, and departments within the hospital at prescribed times.
Main duties include emptying and disposing of domestic and clinical waste, carrying out general cleaning tasks such as dusting furniture and fixtures, and cleaning sanitary fittings and fixtures. You will also be responsible for supplying and replenishing consumables and maintaining floor areas/surfaces using appropriate equipment.
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and adapt quickly to change. You must maintain professionalism and demonstrate care and compassion with patients and other service users.
