About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled ecologist to join our team in Worcester, UK. As an ecologist, you will conduct ecological surveys, assessments, and habitat management plans, contributing to our growing portfolio of projects.

Job Title: Ecologist

Estimated Salary: £41,500 - £45,500 per annum + Car Allowance + Bonus

Location: Worcester, UK

Responsibilities
  • Conduct fieldwork, including surveys, assessments, and habitat management plans.
  • Develop ecological reports, Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), and mitigation plans.
  • Provide expert advice on ecological matters to clients.
  • Collaborate with clients, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Essential Qualifications
  • Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in ecological surveying and assessment.
  • Knowledge of UK and international wildlife laws and guidelines.
  • Protected species survey expertise (e.g., bats, great crested newts, reptiles).
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills.
  • Valid UK driver's license and willingness to travel.
