About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Everlast Gyms. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in driving the success of our gyms and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead by example and demonstrate our elevated ways of working to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team to achieve business objectives.
    • Effectively manage controllable costs, such as stock orders and cleaning supplies, to minimize waste and overspend.
  • Customer Experience
    • Represent Everlast Gyms as an ambassador for fitness and deliver exceptional customer service.
    • Ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times.
  • Business Development
    • Drive all revenue lines, including membership sales, product sales, and secondary revenue streams, to achieve business objectives.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue growth.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Ensure central processes, such as FUNDAMENTALS, ASCEND, and MOVE, are followed and delivered to the highest level consistently.
    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to inform business decisions.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Drive collective buy-in to national focuses and incentives, such as #WorkoutWednesday and #WeCommunicate.
    • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures, including pool plant operations.
    • Report facilities and maintenance-related issues in accordance with best practice guidelines.

  • Qualifications
    • Level 2 qualification in fitness (desirable)

    • Strong leadership and management skills
    • Ability to adapt communication and management style to suit team members and their drivers
