About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Wendy's. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations and staff of a Wendy's restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of a Wendy's restaurant, including staffing, training, and scheduling.
  • Focus on building and retaining a high-performing team by identifying talent, providing coaching and development opportunities, and using effective scheduling to ensure the right team members are in the right place at the right time.
  • Be the face of the restaurant to new hires and crew members, providing a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Contribute to increasing store sales and profit goals by implementing effective strategies and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Experience leading people, preferably in a food service environment.
  • At least 1 year of line operations experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • 1 year of management experience.
  • Flexibility to work 45-hour work weeks, including all day parts and days of the week.
  • Ability to travel to other locations as needed.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and lift 10-25 kg as needed.
