About the Role


We are seeking a skilled
Bank Chef to join our team at Llys Hafren, a highly valued provider of care with a reputation for delivering the highest standard of care to our service users. As part of our commitment to making a difference in the lives of those we provide care for, we are looking for a motivated and caring individual to join our kitchen team.


Key Responsibilities


As our ideal candidate, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking and serving high-quality, home-cooked meals to our residents and other service users. You will also be responsible for liaising with our Home Manager, Nutritional Therapist, and staff to ensure that our catering services meet the highest standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate catering records, adhering to HACCP and COSHH guidelines, and participating in inspections by Environmental Health and/or care regulators and Local Authorities.


Requirements


We are looking for someone who is friendly, compassionate, and caring, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to work effectively as part of a team, have a passion for delivering high-quality food, and be able to manage the catering team. You will also need to have a good understanding of nutrition and be able to cater for a variety of dietary needs.
