Job Title: Community Management and Support

Austin Fraser seeks a highly skilled individual to fill the role of Community Management and Support.

This position involves leading a team of social workers in providing exceptional services to children and families, using the Signs of Safety model of practice.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive performance, improve service delivery, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of statutory and legislative frameworks relevant to social work with children and families.

You will lead and manage a team of social workers to achieve effective outcomes for children and families, collaborating with colleagues from other areas of Children's services to ensure seamless service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and families in Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP) and Court proceedings, as well as in-depth knowledge of these frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of social workers to achieve effective outcomes for children and families
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive performance and improve service delivery
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of statutory and legislative frameworks relevant to social work with children and families
  • Collaborate with colleagues from other areas of Children's services to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in social work with children and families, preferably in a leadership or management capacity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
