About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Language Interpreter to join our team at Language Empire, working in various settings such as the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation and other public and private organisations.

As a Senior Language Interpreter, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of assignments, including face-to-face, telephone, and video interpreting. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality interpreting services, ensuring that all clients receive accurate and effective communication.

Job Description
  • Deliver high-quality interpreting services to clients across various sectors
  • Interpret in person, over the phone, or via video conferencing
  • Work with a variety of languages, including but not limited to English and hundreds of basic languages and dialects across the UK
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to ensure seamless communication
Requirements
  • Fluent English language skills, with a strong understanding of language nuances
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) or equivalent qualification desirable
