Interpreter Translator Required in Airdrie Lanarkshire

The role of an interpreter involves listening to, understanding and memorizing content in the original 'source' language, then reproducing the speech into the 'target' language with 100% accuracy. As a freelance interpreter for Language Empire, you will interpret for people using legal, health and local government services. This includes checking the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence, conference, consecutive and public service interpreting, dealing with highly confidential information and liaising between the service user and service provider.
We are estimating the salary to be around £25-30 per hour. Requirements include being fluent in English and another language, having the right to work in the UK, being aged 21 or over and holding formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registered or a Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages.
