Job Summary

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to work night shifts with us. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents and their families. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care, leading a team of Care Assistants, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants in delivering exceptional care to residents
  • Maintain accurate records of resident care and administer medication as required
  • Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses and Care Managers to provide comprehensive care plans
  • Assist with providing essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Care (or equivalent)
  • Ability to work towards a Level 3 qualification in Adult Care
  • Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to recognize signs of potential abuse or neglect and take appropriate action
