Job Overview

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant Paediatric Radiologist to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality imaging services to our patients, particularly in the area of paediatric radiology.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be expected to work in general and paediatric imaging at the Royal London Hospital, Barts Health NHS Trust. You will join a team of 73 consultant radiologists, including 7 dedicated paediatric radiologists, to help deliver the service and support an active training programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality imaging services to patients, particularly in paediatric radiology
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve departmental goals and objectives
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new imaging protocols and procedures
  • Contribute to the training and education of junior radiologists and other healthcare professionals
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • MB BS or equivalent qualification
  • FRCR or equivalent qualification
  • CCST (or within 6 months of date of interview) or on specialist register
  • Extensive experience in paediatric radiology, including completion of higher specialist training
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
