About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Radiologist to join our team as a Locum Consultant in Paediatric Radiology. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in Paediatric Radiology and a proven track record of delivering high-quality care to patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality imaging services to patients, including general and paediatric imaging
  • Work collaboratively with a team of 73 consultant radiologists, including 7 dedicated paediatric radiologists
  • Participate in an active training programme and contribute to the development of junior staff
  • Develop and maintain a high level of expertise in paediatric radiology, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound
Requirements
  • MB BS or equivalent qualification
  • FRCR or equivalent qualification
  • CCST (or within 6 months of date of interview) or on specialist register
  • MRCP/MRCS
Desirable Qualities
  • Extensive experience in paediatric radiology
  • Completion of higher specialist training in paediatric radiology
  • Extensive experience in general adult imaging, including CT and ultrasound
  • Paediatric hip screening
