Job Overview

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Radiologist to join our team as a Locum Consultant. This is a 6-month fixed-term position, working 10 PA's, and is an excellent opportunity for a radiologist with an interest in Paediatric Radiology to work in general and paediatric imaging at the Royal London Hospital.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will join a team of 73 consultant radiologists, including 7 dedicated paediatric radiologists, and will be responsible for delivering the service and supporting an active training programme. The service has a fluoroscopy room and two dedicated ultrasound rooms, and the hospital provides one of the largest acute paediatric and paediatric trauma services in London.

Requirements
  • MB BS or equivalent qualification
  • FRCR or equivalent qualification
  • CCST (or within 6 months of date of interview) or on specialist register
  • Extensive experience in paediatric radiology, including completion of higher specialist training in paediatric radiology
  • Extensive experience in general adult imaging, including CT and ultrasound
