Job Overview

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Radiologist to join our team as a Locum Consultant. This is a 6-month fixed-term position, and the successful candidate will be responsible for working in general and paediatric imaging at the Royal London Hospital.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will join a team of 73 consultant radiologists, including 7 dedicated paediatric radiologists, and will be responsible for delivering the service and supporting an active training programme. The ideal candidate will have completed subspecialist training in paediatric radiology or be within 6 months of completing their subspecialist training at the time of interview.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in general and paediatric imaging at the Royal London Hospital
  • Deliver the service and support an active training programme
  • Join a team of 73 consultant radiologists, including 7 dedicated paediatric radiologists
Requirements

The successful candidate will need to have:

  • MB BS or equivalent qualification
  • FRCR or equivalent qualification
  • CCST (or within 6 months of date of interview) or on specialist register
Desirable Criteria

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • MRCP/MRCS qualification
  • Extensive experience in paediatric radiology
  • Completion of higher specialist training in paediatric radiology
