East Sussex County Council is seeking a Youth Development Specialist to join our team. This part-time role involves working with young people aged 8-19 at our Youth Hubs across East Sussex.

About the Role

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with young people, has excellent interpersonal skills, and can design and deliver activities that engage them. As a Youth Development Specialist, you will support the Leader in Charge in running sessions, provide guidance and advice, and handle any safeguarding concerns.

Key Responsibilities

  • To work with young people aged 8-19 at our Youth Hubs

  • To provide guidance and advice to young people as needed
  • To handle any safeguarding concerns
