About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Youth Development Coach to join our team at SuperCare Residential. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable children and young people to become more independent, succeed in education, and grow personally through enjoyable activities in a safe environment.

Responsibilities

  • Direct work with young people, key working, and providing day-to-day care & support on a shift work basis.
  • Collaborate with young people, their families, social workers, and other organizations to ensure everyone's needs are addressed.
  • Coordinate, monitor, and review Care Plans for young people transitioning to adulthood and greater independence.
  • Take responsibility for the upkeep of the establishment, health and safety, and making decisions about individual young people's requests and behavior.
  • Ensure young people carry as much responsibility as they can reasonably handle, keeping them informed of their circumstances and rights.
  • Respond to safeguarding concerns and report effectively.
  • Attend to day-to-day needs, including bathing, feeding, and cooking for the young people.
  • Care for the fabric, equipment, and overall environment.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children/young people in an Ofsted environment is important.
  • Level 3 CYPW or above is essential.
  • Enhanced DBS Check, and on the update service, are essential.
  • Ability to drive.
  • Smart and agile to handle daily needs and activities of the young people.
