About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Youth Support Specialist to join our team at a specialized institution for excluded students. As a Youth Support Specialist, you will work with young people who require additional support to succeed in their academic and personal goals. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of working with young people or vulnerable adults, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and external agencies.

The ideal candidate should be resilient, dedicated, and creative in their approach to supporting pupils with additional needs. They should develop strong and trusting relationships with students, work closely with other staff members and external agencies, and care deeply about pupils' academic, emotional, and personal development. The school offers regular staff recognition awards, a supportive team with a "family" feel, easy access to public transport links and car parking, and a beautiful premise and building.

The salary for this position is around £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to competitive pay, Protocol Education can offer FREE continued professional development training, ongoing honest and friendly support, a "family" feel, and birthdays off.
