Youth Welfare Specialist

Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated Youth Welfare Specialist to support children with challenging behaviour, trauma, and mental health needs in a school for children aged 8-16 in Eastbourne. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in improving the social, emotional, and mental well-being of our students.

Responsibilities:
Helping Children Thrive:
• Collaborate with teachers and therapists to provide tailored support to children with complex needs
• Develop strategies to improve social, emotional, and mental well-being
• Work closely with parents and carers to ensure consistent support
Safeguarding and Support:
• Contribute to safeguarding initiatives to protect vulnerable students
• Provide guidance and support to help children manage challenging behaviour
