Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Neurosurgery Training Position within our esteemed Neurosurgery Department. As a trainee, you will participate in two full-day elective operating lists per week, along with emergency operating duties relevant to your training. You will also work on a full shift rota with designated study leave and rest periods.

The trust operates from three sites in Oxford and one in Banbury, providing comprehensive healthcare services to the local community and beyond. We are proud of our reputation for excellence in services and contributions to teaching and research.

This role is an exciting opportunity to join our Oxford Regional Neurosurgery Unit, which was initiated by Sir Hugh Cairns in 1938. Our department features state-of-the-art facilities, including modern theatres, dedicated wards, ITU facilities, and paediatric beds. Our skilled team possesses expertise in various neurosurgical areas, including intracranial vascular and tumour surgery, functional surgery, epilepsy, pituitary surgery, and skull base surgery.

Based on national standards and the location, we anticipate the salary for this position to be approximately £65,000 - £90,000 per year.
