Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Neurosurgeon to join our team as a Pituitary and Skull Base Fellow. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to develop advanced skills in pituitary and minimally invasive/endoscopic skull-base surgery, while also contributing to our general neurosurgery on-call cover.

Main Duties of the Job

The successful candidate will provide further sub-specialisation experience in pituitary and minimally invasive/endoscopic skull-base surgery, with a focus on developing expertise in complex cases. They will also be responsible for providing - hours of general neurosurgery on-call cover per week, two-tier ROTA, on second tier. In addition, they will work closely with the Endocrine team and neurosurgeons based at the John Radcliffe Hospital to deliver high-quality patient care.

Our modern theatres, dedicated wards, ITU facilities, and Paediatric beds enable us to provide seamless care from diagnosis to treatment. With a strong focus on research and innovation, our department is constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible in neurosurgery, and we are committed to staying at the forefront of this rapidly evolving field.

Estimated Salary: £85,000 - £115,000 per annum
