Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Scientist Leader to join our team at Transformation Unit, specializing in Histopathological Dissection. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered Biomedical or Clinical Scientist with a strong background in histopathology dissection to take on a leadership role.

Main Responsibilities
  • Expert Practitioners will be responsible for dissecting a wide range of complex scientific procedures resulting in accurate biological sample interpretation.
  • They will contribute to the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of diseases, including cancer, and investigate other pathological processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • An IBMS Diploma of Expert Practice (DEP) in Histological Dissection is essential.
  • A HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist or Clinical Scientist is also required.
  • MSc or equivalent in a relevant specialty is desirable.
Experience and Skills
  • Demonstrable dissection experience, including benign and malignant resections, is necessary.
  • Competency assessments for RCPath specimen types Cat A-C in all specialties must be demonstrated.
  • Evidence of training Biomedical Scientists and junior medical staff is essential.
Salary and Benefits
