About the Role

This role involves supporting adults with various needs, including learning disabilities, autism, ABI, and mental health, in a place they consider home.



Key Responsibilities

Supporting Adults

You will empower individuals to live fulfilling lives by supporting them in various aspects, such as personal care, medication management, shopping, and hygiene.



Activities and Engagement

Engage in activities like cooking, art, and listening to music, as well as participating in movie nights and food outings to promote social interaction and enjoyment.



Practical Support

Provide practical assistance, including managing medication, shopping, health needs, and keeping living areas tidy and safe.



Procedure Adherence

Follow established procedures to ensure consistent, safe, and reliable care and support.



Requirements

  • Good general education
  • Honesty, reliability, trustworthiness, and a passion to make a difference
  • Commitment to the aims and objectives of the home and Ivolve
  • Satisfactory Police Check and check against the ISA List (where applicable)
  • A commitment to undertake training and development


Desirable Skills

  • RQF Level 2 or above in social care
  • Previous experience within a social care setting
  • Knowledge and commitment regarding Equal Opportunities
  • Knowledge of the regulatory frameworks
  • Confident IT user
