Key Objectives/Deliverables
As the Sales Director at Genesis Technology Services, you will be responsible for driving sales lead generation and customer engagement for new accounts. You will contribute to the strategic direction of the company and remain aware of market developments. Your role will involve identifying potential customer engagements and ensuring they align with the company's strategic objectives. You will require a high degree of market intelligence and the ability to monitor and track trends to positively impact the company's growth. You will also need to possess highly developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to operate at all levels within the business and throughout our potential customer base.

Responsibilities
The Sales Director will be responsible for:

  1. Seeking out major clients and forming working relationships with key decision makers in the industry.
  2. Having direct connections with current customer decision makers to facilitate immediate revenues for Genesis Technology Services.
  3. Overseeing and managing the leads/RFQs and converting them into POs with support from the Delivery and Sales teams.
  4. Overseeing the preparation of business case approvals from Genesis Technology Services management with support from the technical and sales teams.
  5. Maximizing company profits for direct accounts handled.
  6. Supporting the development of sales strategies to keep Genesis Technology Services competitive and innovative.

Operational Experience

  1. Knowledge and experience of the telecommunications market.
  2. A key high flyer with demonstrable career performance.
  3. Established relationships with key decision makers in customer organizations.
  4. Ability to understand and navigate the way through the UK telecommunications market.
  5. Ability to spot opportunities and apply the most appropriate strategies to maximize conversion of opportunities into revenue realization for Genesis Technology Services.

  8. Attention to detail and accomplishing tasks by considering all areas involved, no matter how small; showing concern for all aspects of the job; accurately checking processes and tasks.
  9. Develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships.

Academic & Technical Background

  1. 10 years' experience in a comparable role.
  2. Appropriate Sales and Marketing qualification preferably an MBA.
  3. Demonstrable success in similar roles.
  4. Capability to multi-task and prioritize to ensure timely deliveries.
  5. Comfortable with working with multiple stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment of a global matrix organization with sensitivity and partnering.
