Key Objectives/Deliverables
As the Sales Director at Genesis Technology Services, you will be responsible for driving sales lead generation and customer engagement for new accounts. You will contribute to the strategic direction of the company and stay up-to-date on market developments. Your role will involve identifying potential customer engagements and ensuring they align with the company's strategic objectives. You will also be responsible for maintaining close relationships with colleagues and peers, providing support and direction as needed to facilitate open communication across the team.

Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Establishing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers in the industry.
  2. Developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  3. Overseeing the conversion of leads into sales opportunities.
  4. Collaborating with the delivery and sales teams to ensure seamless execution of sales plans.
  5. Preparing and presenting business cases to senior management for approval.
  6. Identifying opportunities to maximize company profits for direct accounts.

Operational Experience

  1. Proven experience in the telecommunications market.
  2. A track record of delivering high-performing sales results.
  3. Established relationships with key decision-makers in customer organizations.
  4. Ability to navigate complex sales environments and identify opportunities for growth.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Person Specifications

  1. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  3. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  4. Proficiency in business case development and financial modeling.
  5. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Academic & Technical Background

  1. Minimum 10 years' experience in a comparable role.
  2. Relevant sales and marketing qualifications, such as an MBA.
  3. Demonstrable success in similar roles.
  4. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
